DETEKSI DINI RISIKO SINDROM METABOLIK MELALUI PEMERIKSAAN KOLESTEROL TOTAL DAN HDL PADA KOMUNITAS GEREJA BAPTIS CENGKARENG

Abstract

Dislipidemia, terutama peningkatan kolesterol total dan penurunan HDL, merupakan komponen penting sindrom metabolik yang meningkatkan risiko kardiovaskular. Skrining berbasis komunitas diperlukan untuk meningkatkan deteksi dini pada populasi yang belum terjangkau layanan kesehatan. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan desain observasional deskriptif berbasis komunitas pada jemaat dewasa di Gereja Baptis Cengkareng, Jakarta (n=109). Kegiatan ini mencakup pemeriksaan kolesterol total dan HDL, disertai edukasi kesehatan. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan mengacu pada kriteria NCEP ATP III. Hasil: Rerata usia peserta 42,81±13,55 tahun dengan dominasi perempuan (67,9%). Rerata kolesterol total 213,28±42,14 mg/dL, dengan 61,5% mengalami hiperkolesterolemia. Rerata HDL 45,49±13,03 mg/dL, dengan sebagian besar peserta berada pada kategori rendah (47,7%) dan sangat rendah (35,8%). Distribusi kolesterol menunjukkan kecenderungan meningkat seiring usia, meskipun dengan variasi yang luas. Kesimpulan: Skrining profil lipid berbasis komunitas efektif dalam mengidentifikasi tingginya beban dislipidemia dan berpotensi menjadi strategi promotif-preventif dalam menurunkan risiko kardiovaskular melalui deteksi dini dan edukasi
