SKRINING KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PENGUKURAN LINGKAR TUBUH, WHR, DAN SKINFOLD CALIPER SEBAGAI DETEKSI DINI RISIKO PENYAKIT METABOLIK

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi dini risiko penyakit metabolik melalui pengukuran lingkar tubuh, rasio lingkar pinggang-pinggul (WHR), dan ketebalan lemak bawah kulit menggunakan skinfold caliper pada populasi lanjut usia. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah skrining kesehatan masyarakat berbasis komunitas di Gereja Asisi, Tebet, Jakarta Selatan, dengan pendekatan Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA). Seluruh peserta (n=99; rerata usia 71,85 tahun, 71,7% perempuan) menjalani pengukuran lingkar tubuh, WHR, dan ketebalan lemak subkutan pada beberapa titik anatomis. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan mayoritas responden (87,9%) memiliki WHR kategori risiko tinggi, dengan rerata lingkar perut 88,1 cm, lingkar panggul 97,27 cm, dan distribusi lemak subkutan tertinggi pada area suprailiaka dan subskapular. Temuan ini menegaskan tingginya proporsi populasi lanjut usia yang berisiko mengalami sindrom metabolik. Simpulan, pengukuran antropometri sederhana berupa lingkar tubuh, WHR, dan skinfold caliper efektif sebagai strategi promotif dan preventif untuk deteksi dini risiko penyakit metabolik, serta menjadi dasar untuk intervensi edukatif dan modifikasi gaya hidup di tingkat komunitas.References
