PERAN PEMERIKSAAN TRIGLISERIDA SEBAGAI INDIKATOR PENYIMPANAN ENERGI DALAM DETEKSI DINI DISLIPIDEMIA: STRATEGI PREVENTIF PENYAKIT KARDIOMETABOLIK

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menilai peran pemeriksaan kadar trigliserida sebagai indikator penyimpanan energi dalam deteksi dini dislipidemia dan upaya pencegahan penyakit kardiometabolik pada populasi dewasa. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah skrining kadar trigliserida melalui sampel darah kapiler menggunakan perangkat point of care testing (POCT) pada 99 partisipan, disertai edukasi kesehatan mengenai faktor risiko dislipidemia, modifikasi pola makan, aktivitas fisik, dan tindak lanjut bagi peserta dengan hasil abnormal. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan rerata kadar trigliserida 144,72 mg/dL (SD = 74,5), dengan 62,6% partisipan berada pada kategori normal, 23,2% meningkat, 13,1% tinggi, dan 1% sangat tinggi; distribusi trigliserida bervariasi menurut jenis kelamin dan tidak menunjukkan pola konsisten berdasarkan usia. Simpulan, pemeriksaan trigliserida berbasis POCT terbukti praktis, cepat, dan efektif sebagai skrining deteksi dini dislipidemia, serta menjadi dasar intervensi promotif dan preventif untuk menurunkan risiko penyakit kardiometabolik di masyarakat.
