PERSEPSI PUBLIK TERHADAP KINERJA KEPOLISIAN DI KOTA MAGELANG

Persepsi publik memainkan peran penting dalam membangun kepercayaan dan hubungan yang efektif antara aparat kepolisian dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi publik terhadap kinerja kepolisian di Kota Magelang. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2024 dengan melibatkan 125 orang masyarakat dengan rentang usia antara 17- 50 tahun dengan jenis pekerjaan yang beragam di Kota Magelang sebagai responden penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah random sampling. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan instrumen kuesioner tentang persepsi yang berjumlah 10 item dan instrumen kepercayaan yang berjumlah 21 item. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja polisi di Kota Magelang cukup baik menurut masyarakat. Persepsi berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kepercayaan diri. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pihak kepolisian untuk meningkatkan strategi pelayanan dan memperkuat hubungan dengan masyarakat, serta menjadi referensi bagi studi-studi serupa di masa mendatang.
